Desert Festival…
Aug. 27 – Sept. 1, 2008

Birch Circle Adventures participates in arguably the
most creative and unique annual festival of modern times.

If you have been with us in the past, welcome back to an American pilgrimage.  This 6-day journey is likely to call forth emotions you haven’t felt in years or perhaps for the first time.  Without question, it is a transformative experience.  The desert in the late summer can be hot in the day, cool at night, and for sure, dusty.  But when you’re prepared, the ride on this wave is undefinable!

We are a self-contained community with all the resources necessary to survive and thrive.  We bring our own water, food, tents, tarps, showers, couches, bikes, shade structures, therapists, and more.  We bring professional chefs from the Bay Area to prepare us meals to die for, adding our unique gourmet touch.

This event focuses on the human existence of sharing and exploring as an individual and as a community.
This is a shared cost project.

What you can bring:
• Any prescriptions you need to maintain your health in a remote area.
• Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a wide brim hat
• Warm clothing for evenings
• Dust mask and goggles
• Lotion and lip balm to protect your skin
• Flashlight, spare batteries, or headlamps to see and be seen at night.
• Costumes, musical instruments, & neon lights to enhance your experience.
